HOMEMADE FRENCH FRIES

Hello welcome back to my blog and today’s topic is Homemade french fires. How I usually cook these fries are in a either a fraying pan or a fryer, both of which I think cook the fries perfectly. Now I know some of you are used to going to the store and buying fries in the frozen section, or you go to a fast food place or a restaurant and get fries there. But you could make french fries at home with just a couple of steps, here is a list of the things you do when cooking the homemade fries.

1.) get a potato and wash

2.) peel the potato

3.) cut the potato into the slices that you desire

4.) stick the potato slices in water and let them set for about 10-20 minutes

5.) stick the french fries in the fryer and keep a close eye on them

6.) take the fries out of the fryer when they reach golden brown

7.) season the fires with your desired seasoning

With just seven steps you could have your own french fries which taste impeccable. Although in step five I did mention to keep a close eye on the fries, and that is because you could overcook them, here is a list of tips and tricks that could help you when cooking the homemade french fries.

  • Don’t use low-starch potatoes, they make the fries soggy.
  • Vegetable oil is the best oil for to get golden fries.
  • To keep the fries crisp place on a cooling rack
  • Let fries air dry when done.
  • Make sure that they are golden brown and not burnt.

I hope that these tips and tricks can help when trying to cook the homemade fries.
