Bacon & Macaroni Cheese

Hello welcome back to my blog and today’s topic is my mom’s incredible Bacon and Mac and Cheese pasta. I really enjoy the flavor the bacon gives to the pasta, the very light crunch that the bacon gives to the pasta just makes the dish amazing.

One thing that makes this dish so good is the amount of cheese you add. The bacon and a bunch of cheese is the perfect combination in the dish. Although this dish isn’t extremely complex, there are many ways you could go wrong with this dish if you don’t pay attention when you are cooking it and look at the dish when it is done. I would like to give a list of things I and all of you should look for if you ever decide to do this dish.

  • Before you put the dish in the oven taste the pasta, it should be firm but not super crunchy.
  • That each part of the pasta a cheese on it
  • The bacon doesn’t look under cook
  • The bacon is spreed evenly threw out the dish and not just one area.
  • The pasta is burnt around the edges but no super burnt that it is black.
  • That you cook the bacon before you put it on the pasta, don’t cook the bacon in the oven.

Now what I have just listed may or may not help you understand what you should look for in this dish, but I am sure many of you would like to make this dish for yourself so here is the recipe.

Ingredeants

  • Flour
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Mustered powder
  • Milk
  • Cheese
  • Pasta noodles of your choice
  • Bacon
  • Butter

Recipe

  • Boil noodles
  • In a sauce pan cook the butter, flour, salt and pepper
  • Cook your bacon
  • Combine everything together
  • Stick in oven until golden brown, then enjoy.
