Hello welcome back to my blog and today’s topic is Cooking & Board Games. While in Quarantine I have tried many things to keep myself occupied and I decide why not make a blog to help those who are bored and need help finding something to do.
First lets start with cooking. I am not a person who usually cooks on a daily basis, but I do enjoy cooking a lot more in Quarantine. Since I have nothing better to do cooking food has been something I do a lot now, whether its a simple meal or a meal more complex I just enjoy cooking.
I think while being in Quarantine I have gone out of my comfort zone a lot. Cooking is something that I rarely did, but I guess Quarantine has changed my point of view on cooking. I have gone out my comfort zone as well with my food, cooking and eating dishes that I would usually never even think about trying.
One new dish that I tried was Lasagna, and it was really good. I made it a couple of weeks ago and it was really easy. Though it took me a while to understand what I actually had to do to get the perfect results, I think for my first time cooking this dish I did a pretty good job.
There is only a few things I could’ve done better, like I overcooked it. I also made chocolate cake which was really good as well, it was my first time making a cake all by myself actually.
Next is Board Games. Any time I get board during Quarantine I almost always ask to play a board game with someone , which keeps my busy and is very fun.
One of my favorite board games is TROUBLE. I play this one the most with my family, just because we can play with multiply people. The concept of this game is that you have little game piece that you move around the board, but in order to move around the board you have to push a dice that will give you a number for example lets say you get 3, that means you have to move 3 spaces. And whoever gets all of their pieces inside of their base first wins.
Another one of my Favorite board games to play is Monopoly. This is common game that we play a lot at my house, and since were all pretty board we play this game quite a lot of times a day.
If you don’t know what Monopoly is, it’s basically a board game were you buy property and also try to steal other peoples property. It definitely keeps me busy, my family and I can play this game over and over again and still not get bored which is amazing because if I’m not doing something with my free time then I become so bored.
