Hello welcome back to my blog and today’s topic is Macaroons, I have never tasted a macaroon until a couple of days ago. I was very hesitant to try a macaroon for the first time, but the flavor didn’t really impress me maybe the place I bought the macaroon from isn’t really how a macron is supposed to be made. The flavor I got was chocolate and in every bite I wasn’t getting that much chocolate, in every bite I took I thought I was biting air. I decide to do some research on the history of macaroons and how they were made since I was really disappointed in the macaroon I got.
A macaroon usually has a mixture of combining icing sugar and finely grounded almonds, once I figured this out I didn’t know if the macron I tasted even had any sugar. I then researched were macrons are from, and I originally thought that they were from France but it turns out they are from Italy but the macron was brought over to France as early as 1553, which is why I’m sure many of you thought that they were from France.
Many things needed to be changed in the macaroons that I tasted, they need flavor and I think that’s very important in any food.
Thank you so much for clicking on this blog, please let me know if there is nay food you want me to try next, but for right now I’m out.
