Hello welcome back to my blog and today’s topic is IHOP. The main dish we are focusing on from IHOP is their seasonal funnel cake. To be completely honest I love Funnel Cakes with a passion, but let’s just say the funnel cake I had was not to my liking. You see IHOP is known for pancakes I mean it’s called International House Of Pancakes for a reason right, so I didn’t expect the funnel cake to taste amazing when I ordered it, but when the funnel cake came out I did not like the way it looked.
Mine looked similar to this, mine though had barely any powered sugar and was burnt.
I expect from ANY funnel cake these five things:
- Fluffy
- Powered sugar is evenly placed
- Not looking so burnt or tasting burnt
- Not clumpy
- Soft
Those five things I just listed were not presented in IHOP’s funnel cake. Not trying to be rude but I would never try it again. There was barley any flavor, and I know I am not the only one who wants flavor in there food, especially a desert.
